The Chabot Museum in Rotterdam has been housed in a monument of New Building since 1993. The museum, a white corner villa on Museumpark is a 1938 design by architects Baas and Stokla. Since 2000, it has also been a National Monument and it houses one of the most important collections of the painter and sculptor Hendrik (Henk) Chabot (1894-1949), a Dutch expressionist.
