The Association of Estate Planners in the Notariat (EPN) was founded on 29 June 1999 as a notarial specialists' association. Former notary Jan Kooijman was one of the founders of EPN. On 23 September 2010, EPN's general members' meeting was held at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. At that meeting, Aniel Autar was appointed as a board member.
