An entrepreneur developing activities abroad has to deal with many formalities. He needs to prove that his BV exists, what its address is, who is allowed to sign, who the shareholders are, and so on. The international passport for legal entities makes this procedure much simpler. The Council of Notaries of the European Union (CNUE) has prepared the draft international passport, which is the basis for the passport that Kooijman Autar can issue as a Dutch notary. Entrepreneurs can use the passport when dealing with foreign notaries or other entrepreneurs.
With the international passport for legal entities, the entrepreneur receives a document in one go in which all requested information is included and all requested documents are attached. In addition, the name and address of the notary who issued the document is given. If one wants more information or an update of the document in another country then it is clear to whom to turn.
